September 9th from 3-4:30pm we are hosting a fun party for Grandparent’s Day with icecream, face paint, lawn games, a band etc. September 12th – National assisted Living BBQ lunch with a band, lunch tickets are $5.00 September 20th – Every third Thursday: Terri Mattson Presents “A healthier You is only a Habit Away” at 2:30pm in the dining room September 23rd – Open Streets on 50th from 1-5, come on down to see us at our booth on 50th and France!
October 3rd kicks off the 3 part series for a Spooktacular October, Partnering with The Edina Senior Center we present: The Jest Murder Mystery theater presenting “Bullets in the Bathtub” This is a Happy Hour/ Appetizer event that begins at 2:30. Cost for tickets is $20 and seats are limited. This is being held at York Gardens in the Dining room. October 10th is the second event in the three part series presented by York Gardens and The Edina Senior Center held at York Gardens in the Dining room at 2:30pm; we welcome Joe Kimball author and reporter, speaking on his book “Secrets of the Congdon Mansion” Books will be on sale for $10 the day of the event. October 18th Every third Thursday Presents a fun and engaging talk about one of our most colorful American Presidents, Teddy Roosevelt. Held in the Dining Room at 2pm October 16th is the last of the three part series hosted by York Gardens and The Edina Senior Center, this will be held at the Edina Senior Center at 1:00pm. Psychic Echo Bodine will be there to thrill audiences with her intuitive skills.
November 8th from 2:30-4:30 in the multipurpose room we are presenting Wine and Canvas! Space is limited and tickets are $25.00/ person. Appetizers will be provided. November 15th Lunch and Veterans day program on woman in WWI at the Edina Senior Center. Lunch begins at noon and the speaker at 1pm. November 15th ETT (not planned yet)
October 23rd at 7:30am (speaker begins at 8:00am) Lores Valminick presents: Hospice care in Assisted living, who does what? Breakfast will be provided in the York Gardens Theater. December 6th at 3-4:30 in the York Gardens Theater we will have speaker Sandy Mcgurran present on Integrative Healing Therapies in Healthcare Settings.
