York Gardens lifelong learning program offers an assortment of coordinated arts and education opportunities designed to nurture growth and creativity in seniors. At York Gardens, we believe that learning and growing helps everyone at every stage of life, and for the elderly population, the benefits from learning new things are endless. Research has shown that when given the opportunity to express their feelings and discover new passions/skills, seniors and older adults can experience vibrant living and artistic growth, as well as improved mental and physical health.

Our residents gather in designated spaces to interact with each other and with guest speakers, musicians, artists, poets and children from our local Edina schools who entertain us with concerts. Residents from next door at 7500 York are often invited over to share in the fun!
Whether they are singing songs, watching a cooking demonstration or creating one-of-a-kind artwork, York Gardens' residents are always having a good time!
